Advanced Course

With translation

In this advanced course, Atau Tanaka, David Fierro and Francesco Di Maggio will present their work in the Brain Body Digital Musical Instrument (BBDMI) at the MSH Paris Nord and Université Paris 8. The will present the use of novel sensor interfaces to detect electyromyogram (EMG) muscle tension and signal processing of the physiological signal in Max. They will present the use of Interactive Machine Learning to create neural network regression mapping using the rapidmax object and other externals in Max. They will present the spatial control and composition of sound using Ambisonics via the HOA Library and interfaces between Max and the FAUST programming environment.
